Who we are: Northants Buddhist Meditation Centre welcomes anyone wishing to learn about meditation, develop their meditation practice or who has an interest in Buddhism. We are an independent group with leanings towards the Tibetan Karma Kagyu tradition, but gladly welcome non-Buddhists and Buddhists of all traditions. Our meetings are on Mondays from 7 to 9 pm (except public holidays)
WHY NOT COME ALONG TO SEE WHAT WE CAN OFFER?
Our usual Monday evening programme consists of silent or guided meditation, ideal for beginners, followed by a short reading on a meditation or Buddhist theme appealing to non-Buddhists too. We then have a tea break followed by another meditation session, at the end of which we remember those in special need.
VISITING TEACHERS: most months we are privileged to host teaching visits from highly experienced teachers and masters who give instruction, advice and guidance. Please see Latest News and Previous Visits for more information.
